ALWAYS turn off and/or unplug fixtures prior to cleaning.
Portable Lamps: Lamps should be cleaned with a dry, soft cloth.
Finishes: To avoid damage to the finish do
not use polish, abrasive cleaners, or harsh
chemicals.
Aged Brass (AGB) fixtures: should be handled
with clean hands or gloves to avoid uneven
patina.
Fabric Shades: Shades can be gently dusted
with a soft-bristle brush vacuum attachment., or
manually with a dry, clean, soft-bristle brush.
Dust in long, smooth strokes from the top of the
shade to the bottom. Remember to clean the
inside of the lampshade as well. Do not use a
brush or a vacuum attachment if there are any
rips or tears in the fabric.
Acrylic Diffusers: Use only water or cleaners
specifically formulated for cleaning plastics.
Always use a soft, damp cloth to avoid
scratching the acrylic. Do not use ammonia-
based cleaners (e.g. Windex®), abrasives, or
chemicals, as they can damage the fixture.
Replacement Lightbulbs: Only use Edward Martin
suggested bulb sizes to ensure proper
functioning and extend fixture longevity.
Using any advised against cleaning methods
will void the product’s warranty
