Product Care & Installation
After installing Jojo Subway Tiles, remove adhesive or grout residue with a commercial descaling product formulated for ceramic tiles. Follow the manufacturer’s dilution and timing guidelines closely.
Avoid harsh abrasives, steel wool, or powdered detergents that can damage the glossy surface. For routine cleaning, a soft sponge with warm water and a mild liquid soap works best. Rinse thoroughly with clean water afterward.
Use adhesives and grout specifically recommended for ceramic tile to ensure a secure bond. Traditional mortars may not provide sufficient adhesion for Jojo’s glossy finish.
Slight dimensional variations may occur due to Jojo’s artisanal nature. Plan and execute all joint types properly (structural, perimeter, expansion, and installation joints). Installing tiles without joints is not advised, as it can lead to issues over time.
For optimal visual appeal, use a 1.5 mm (0.06”) grout line. Select a contrasting grout color to highlight Jojo’s unique shape and shade variation. Matching grout color can diminish the tile’s distinctive character.
